Love, grace, elegance and grandeur

Love, grace, elegance and grandeur.
Well these are the words I can use to describe this family in short.

I instantly fell in love with their very beautiful and luxurious home. I betcha.. You will too..when you see it.

The rooms were gorgeously lit by natural light, and the sun's precious golden rays ere peeping hard to enter some rooms and the view of the river zuari was breath taking too.

Ah! I'm still basking in the gorgeousness of the lighting that day.

I always strive to click as many candid captures as possible but find it very hard to get unless it is an event I'm covering. so, I've come up with the best way to get that candidness out of my clients.
Guess what it is?
Yeah, the plain old conversation.

The varied emotions I get to capture when people converse are worth waiting for. And, thus make memories which last for a lifetime unlike those in which people pose and have their cheesy plastic smiles.

Ok, enough of my rant! Enjoy the pictures now.

Every little piece has a hint of their taste and have been carefully handpicked to suit the decor.

Sand Art..Ain't it gorgeous?
And the wonderful couple are blessed with two cuties, and it was an absolute pleasure capturing their many wonderful moments.

Reflections everywhere

Toothless grins

Cutie

Sunlit beauty

A happy conversation

There are many many more wonderful candid captures but i'm forcefully restricting myself from posting them here.

Hope you enjoy the love and warmth of this family.
Have a good day dear ones.

Malpe an Edna's Maternity shoot

This shoot is more than an year old but these people are special, hence thought of penning down this beautiful photo shoot for all of you to witness.
They have a beautiful baby girl Elizabeth whose pictures at various stages will be blogged soon.

Vinod has very few friends, I can count them on my finger tips and Malpe is one of them. He is his classmate from college and its been a decade or more to their friendship and it is still going strong. Amen.

So, special people deserve special photo shoot right?

Edna was in her 9th month already, and only then all of us could find time to schedule a photo shoot. The weekend arrived and we took them to our favorite spot. They loved the place too, The place has an old church in ruins, and is on the banks of river Zuari, and has a lot of beauty.

My favorite golden hour has been put to maximum use yet again.

Have a look at the pictures to see how picturesque the location is and how beautifully these two complemented the place. There are many more good pictures from this series which are unfortunately lost. Hope you like the ones posted in here.

Lost in each other

Ain't she a stunning mommy to be?

We cherish our love

A little cowboy and his flock of goats

Chance favors the prepared mind- Louis pasteur

Oh! yeah.
This saying proved to be true in my life many times and this is one of those times.

We had ordered an acoustic child guitar from first cry and my hands and camera were itching to use it up as a prop in my photos. It was love at first sight between the guitar and my son Shaun. H e took it around everywhere and all his toys were sent into oblivion. H e loved it so very much, and I knew I had to get some good pictures before he is tired of it.

So, the weekend I had been anticipating finally arrived and before the golden hour(well yes, I'm a sucker for golden hour) could set in, we set out in search of a good location for the shoot. I had some greenery in mind and were driving around. As the monsoons had receded here in Goa, there was no sign of greenery anywhere, Oh! boy, I was totally disappointed  and was on the verge of an emotional breakdown (which happens every time I don't get a location I visualize in my mind) but fortunately my darling hubby came to my rescue and assured me that no matter what he will make sure I get wonderful pictures today. And said that "you are ready with your camera, model and props, so don't you worry things will turn out fine."

And then he drove me to this barren, brown and rocky place and said "you click your pictures here . I'm sure they will turn out beautiful". ( He tells me this every time I go for a shoot). And yeah he is that cheesy. But the adamant me wasn't even ready to venture out of the car but after further persuasion I got down, walked a bit further and made my cute model sit on a rock there and asked him to sing a song while playing his favorite guitar. And my most obliging model did as I wanted and I got wonderful shots but something more wonderful got captured in my lens and it was some goats happily grazing around and Shaun looked at them while I clicked him and viola, I got my theme.

These were some initial shots.

Isn't our little musician so very cute?

Then upon further walk, we found a  found a shepherdess resting, we requested her that we would use her flock and her shepherd mast in our shoot and asked her to call her flock a bit closer as they were quite scattered. She, more than happily obliged. I was laughing gleefully.

Shaun was quite smitten by the goats but was hesitant to move closer to them, then we gave him the shepherd stick and gave him some time too..and then I ran around like some crazy person  being careful not to startle the flock and the rest of the story is here for you to watch in our visual story.

Don't you dare mess with my flock.

He loved this kid

So, how do you like our little cowboy and his flock of goats? All of us went home happily listening to the bleating of the goats mimicked by my cutie pie, he was way too ecstatic to come out of his little adventure. I just wanted to use the guitar, But, I got to use pretty much more than I wished for.:)

Dear folks, get out of the house, go venturing into the woods, you never know an adventure might be waiting to get into your way.

Happy clicking people.

XOXO

N + A Maternity photoshoot

Anticipating the birth of a child is the best kind of anticipation. -Deepthi Nannam

When ever I see expecting parents, my thoughts always wander to the times I was expecting my son.
The wait of those 9 months are definitely worth it as soon as you look at the sweet face of your child, all the pain and sorrow just vanish away in an instant you see that sweet cherub crying its heart out as it struggles to adjust to the new environment it has been brought into.

These pictures of N and A are sure to brighten up your day no matter how gloomy it has been till now.

N was a little camera conscious initially but she eased up as the time went by, she was almost near her due date so I did not want to strain her much. But, she surprised me with the way she easily shifted from one place to the other. Kudos, girl. Mr. A he himself being a photographer was a breeze to shoot. He complemented his lady really well, through out.

Enough said, now go see for yourselves.

P.S The love, the affection and happiness in these pictures are addictive.

Cutest Siblings ever

Hi!
How are you all doing?

"Children are a blessing from the Lord". So, more the children more are the blessings.
I always love capturing children in my camera, they are so spontaneous and never does a preconceived pose work with them. I always flow with them and trust me the candidness of their various emotions makes my heart swell with happiness.

Today I'll introduce you to the cutest siblings ever. They were so well behaved for their age I must tell you and the littlest one just stole my heart with her smile.

Get ready for some serious cuteness overload.

Aren't they the cutest?
