Twins & Smash

Well, well you all guessed it right.
It was my first time shooting twins and first time shooting cake smash as well.

I couldn't do my son's cake smash when he was one and since then I was on a look out for clients who would be interested in doing it. As, this is a new trend in India, most of them either did not know about it and were thus quite apprehensive to try it out  and the one's who knew about it were scared of the after effects of the cake smash. Yeah yeah I know, cleaning a baby drenched in butter cream can be a pain.

But, when A+A's mommy called me up and told specifically that she was interested in  Cake smash for their first birthday, I couldn't be more happier, and when she mentioned that I had to shoot a pair of twin girls... I performed an epic dance session in my mind, and then I got hold of my excitement and said yes :).

The family were coming down to Goa for a couple of days and I had to do the shoot in the evening, edit it the same night and hand it over the next morning as they had their returning flight the next morning. As, the next day was a Sunday and I had to go to the church early , I had to wrap up the editing, write it in a DVD and hand it over just after the church, the schedule was all jam packed but the butterflies in my stomach which started at our first conversation haven't died down yet.

The shoot was planned at The Grand Hyatt, Goa. Oh, what a splendid place it was! And the magnificent evening added to its grandeur.

I met the family in their suite and Oh! the twin girls were lovely, they were nonidentical yet identically dressed and made my heart melt into a puddle. It was an adorable family, I must say.

Have a look at their cuteness.

PS: Get ready for some pink cuteness overload.

And, here comes the most awaited cake smash collage.

Wasn't that an yummy post?

Meet you all in my next post. And till then, Take care

XOXO
DEEPTHI NANNAM

Now go have some cake and satiate your Sweet tooth craving. :D
