Pre-Birthday shoot at Radisson, Goa

Working with toddlers is way too much fun than you can imagine. They can go from all smiley and cuddly to all cranky and grumpy in just a few seconds, and deciphering what they need can be a daunting ask unless the toddler is speaking already, which in most of the cases is negative, and even if they manage to blurt out their reason you wouldn't understand a thing unless you are a mommy.

Ok, Ok..I'll stop my rant right there. And you must be wondering that the shoot I'm going to blog about must have been a tough one, hence the rant. But let me tell you, the shoot was a breeze, and  I got a very happy baby to work with. It had rained a day before and the day of the shoot was way too humid to bear. In spite of that He had such a cute smile through out and I couldn't stop smiling back. My son Shaun loved him too and even after a gap of 2 weeks he recalls KIAAN and says "Kiaan was very cute na mamma".

I really love it when mommies plan what they want on the shoot, it gives the photographer an idea of what the client is expecting, Kiaan's mommy had things in her mind and she communicated it very well right from our first telephonic conversation. And I loved the way she coordinated their out fits for the whole shoot, she was an absolute sweetheart.

Today is Baby Kiaan's first Birthday, hence blogging so late in the night.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIAAN.

Have a look at what Baby kiaan loves to do and, I must specially mention about his Cake Smash, He smashed it like a pro. I'll zip my mouth here and will let the pictures do the talking.

There are many more wonderful picture in different loctaions and outfits but I think I''l just finish this blog with these.

Won't you wish him for his birthday?
Show him some love through your comments.

Take care,
XOXO

Family Portrait session

Children bring lots of joy and laughter in our lives, as well as sleep less nights and cranky mornings. something which no one mentions before you have a child eh?

But years later I wonder if we would ever remember those sleepless nights at all? Rather, I think we would look back and smile at all those silly times and those moments at which you laughed your heart out or those moments which made you proud for being a parent of such a wonderful child.

Photography is such a wonderful medium to capture such moments in our lives and freeze them forever in time. I feel very honored to be able to gift such wonderful memories to many families I keep meeting through out my journey.

Today I'm going to blog about one such beautiful families.

Ms. R called me up and scheduled this Shoot , their baby girl was yet to turn one in a week or so, and hence they wanted a pre- birthday shoot. We decided upon a few venues near their home. So, as usual we set out as a family before the Golden hour could set in to meet their adorable princess.

It was quite hot for that hour in the day yet the baby girl was very cooperative and she was quite a poser I must say.

There are so many wonderful pictures of this session, But have only got a few in my pen-drive.

PS. If her adorable smile doesn't melt your heart, then I do not know what will?

A little cowboy and his flock of goats

Chance favors the prepared mind- Louis pasteur

Oh! yeah.
This saying proved to be true in my life many times and this is one of those times.

We had ordered an acoustic child guitar from first cry and my hands and camera were itching to use it up as a prop in my photos. It was love at first sight between the guitar and my son Shaun. H e took it around everywhere and all his toys were sent into oblivion. H e loved it so very much, and I knew I had to get some good pictures before he is tired of it.

So, the weekend I had been anticipating finally arrived and before the golden hour(well yes, I'm a sucker for golden hour) could set in, we set out in search of a good location for the shoot. I had some greenery in mind and were driving around. As the monsoons had receded here in Goa, there was no sign of greenery anywhere, Oh! boy, I was totally disappointed  and was on the verge of an emotional breakdown (which happens every time I don't get a location I visualize in my mind) but fortunately my darling hubby came to my rescue and assured me that no matter what he will make sure I get wonderful pictures today. And said that "you are ready with your camera, model and props, so don't you worry things will turn out fine."

And then he drove me to this barren, brown and rocky place and said "you click your pictures here . I'm sure they will turn out beautiful". ( He tells me this every time I go for a shoot). And yeah he is that cheesy. But the adamant me wasn't even ready to venture out of the car but after further persuasion I got down, walked a bit further and made my cute model sit on a rock there and asked him to sing a song while playing his favorite guitar. And my most obliging model did as I wanted and I got wonderful shots but something more wonderful got captured in my lens and it was some goats happily grazing around and Shaun looked at them while I clicked him and viola, I got my theme.

These were some initial shots.

Isn't our little musician so very cute?

Then upon further walk, we found a  found a shepherdess resting, we requested her that we would use her flock and her shepherd mast in our shoot and asked her to call her flock a bit closer as they were quite scattered. She, more than happily obliged. I was laughing gleefully.

Shaun was quite smitten by the goats but was hesitant to move closer to them, then we gave him the shepherd stick and gave him some time too..and then I ran around like some crazy person  being careful not to startle the flock and the rest of the story is here for you to watch in our visual story.

Don't you dare mess with my flock.

He loved this kid

So, how do you like our little cowboy and his flock of goats? All of us went home happily listening to the bleating of the goats mimicked by my cutie pie, he was way too ecstatic to come out of his little adventure. I just wanted to use the guitar, But, I got to use pretty much more than I wished for.:)

Dear folks, get out of the house, go venturing into the woods, you never know an adventure might be waiting to get into your way.

Happy clicking people.

XOXO

Cutest Siblings ever

Hi!
How are you all doing?

"Children are a blessing from the Lord". So, more the children more are the blessings.
I always love capturing children in my camera, they are so spontaneous and never does a preconceived pose work with them. I always flow with them and trust me the candidness of their various emotions makes my heart swell with happiness.

Today I'll introduce you to the cutest siblings ever. They were so well behaved for their age I must tell you and the littlest one just stole my heart with her smile.

Get ready for some serious cuteness overload.

Aren't they the cutest?
