FAMILY- A gift from above

I've always considered myself very blessed to have such a wonderful family to grow in. The bond we share with our parents, the silly times we spend with our siblings and all such precious moments just stay in our hearts forever.

I gives me great joy and happiness when I find the same love in the families of  various clients I shoot, I get to meet some very wonderful families and I also get to witness the love and affection they share for each other, and it fills my heart with such bliss that the words fail to express.

Today, I'm going to blog about one such family, their's is a nuclear family, well settled, have a cute son, and a big house and the cherry on the topping is their extended family.

Ms.R called me up for a lifestyle family photo-shoot and told me that her son's birthday is the next day and asked me to capture those pictures as well as their extended family is going to get together and celebrate the boy's birthday.

The grandfather of the child was a very merry person and told me that "though all my children have settled down with their jobs, have families of their own and are quite busy, they make sure to celebrate the birthday's and anniversaries of the children and grandchildren together". Oh! what a beautiful thing it is, to catch up with families and to spend some precious moments together.

I really consider myself fortunate to be a part of such gatherings and to present them with memories for a lifetime.

Have a look at the happiness.

Will upload pictures of the other members in my next post.

Take care till then.

Twins & Smash

Well, well you all guessed it right.
It was my first time shooting twins and first time shooting cake smash as well.

I couldn't do my son's cake smash when he was one and since then I was on a look out for clients who would be interested in doing it. As, this is a new trend in India, most of them either did not know about it and were thus quite apprehensive to try it out  and the one's who knew about it were scared of the after effects of the cake smash. Yeah yeah I know, cleaning a baby drenched in butter cream can be a pain.

But, when A+A's mommy called me up and told specifically that she was interested in  Cake smash for their first birthday, I couldn't be more happier, and when she mentioned that I had to shoot a pair of twin girls... I performed an epic dance session in my mind, and then I got hold of my excitement and said yes :).

The family were coming down to Goa for a couple of days and I had to do the shoot in the evening, edit it the same night and hand it over the next morning as they had their returning flight the next morning. As, the next day was a Sunday and I had to go to the church early , I had to wrap up the editing, write it in a DVD and hand it over just after the church, the schedule was all jam packed but the butterflies in my stomach which started at our first conversation haven't died down yet.

The shoot was planned at The Grand Hyatt, Goa. Oh, what a splendid place it was! And the magnificent evening added to its grandeur.

I met the family in their suite and Oh! the twin girls were lovely, they were nonidentical yet identically dressed and made my heart melt into a puddle. It was an adorable family, I must say.

Have a look at their cuteness.

PS: Get ready for some pink cuteness overload.

And, here comes the most awaited cake smash collage.

Wasn't that an yummy post?

Meet you all in my next post. And till then, Take care

Love, grace, elegance and grandeur

Love, grace, elegance and grandeur.
Well these are the words I can use to describe this family in short.

I instantly fell in love with their very beautiful and luxurious home. I betcha.. You will too..when you see it.

The rooms were gorgeously lit by natural light, and the sun's precious golden rays ere peeping hard to enter some rooms and the view of the river zuari was breath taking too.

Ah! I'm still basking in the gorgeousness of the lighting that day.

I always strive to click as many candid captures as possible but find it very hard to get unless it is an event I'm covering. so, I've come up with the best way to get that candidness out of my clients.
Guess what it is?
Yeah, the plain old conversation.

The varied emotions I get to capture when people converse are worth waiting for. And, thus make memories which last for a lifetime unlike those in which people pose and have their cheesy plastic smiles.

Ok, enough of my rant! Enjoy the pictures now.

Every little piece has a hint of their taste and have been carefully handpicked to suit the decor.

Sand Art..Ain't it gorgeous?
And the wonderful couple are blessed with two cuties, and it was an absolute pleasure capturing their many wonderful moments.

Reflections everywhere

Toothless grins

Cutie

Sunlit beauty

A happy conversation

There are many many more wonderful candid captures but i'm forcefully restricting myself from posting them here.

Hope you enjoy the love and warmth of this family.
Have a good day dear ones.

N + A Maternity photoshoot

Anticipating the birth of a child is the best kind of anticipation. -Deepthi Nannam

When ever I see expecting parents, my thoughts always wander to the times I was expecting my son.
The wait of those 9 months are definitely worth it as soon as you look at the sweet face of your child, all the pain and sorrow just vanish away in an instant you see that sweet cherub crying its heart out as it struggles to adjust to the new environment it has been brought into.

These pictures of N and A are sure to brighten up your day no matter how gloomy it has been till now.

N was a little camera conscious initially but she eased up as the time went by, she was almost near her due date so I did not want to strain her much. But, she surprised me with the way she easily shifted from one place to the other. Kudos, girl. Mr. A he himself being a photographer was a breeze to shoot. He complemented his lady really well, through out.

Enough said, now go see for yourselves.

P.S The love, the affection and happiness in these pictures are addictive.

Photos of Shaun(My son) outdoors.

Hi! beautiful people,
How are you all doing? First of all let me wish you all A very Happy New year.  I know, I know it is pretty late, But better late than never right?
It has been a very long time since I posted something on this blog, it was as if I totally forgot about the very existence of this blog, I got so caught up work and other stuff that I totally ignored this.
So, very recently I was editing my FB page and then I remembered about this blog and that is when I decided to ramble again.

My husband and I love exploring beautiful places and Goa continues to surprise us every time. Since, our wedding we have been going around and we have discovered many new places which would not be shown to you if you come here as a tourist. Trust me Goa has more than Old Goa,  Baga, Calangute and Anjuna to offer the people.
We usually make it a point to go on outings on Saturdays, since hubby has an off.  And we always take our little munchkin with us on every trip, and we click many photos of him every time and that is how he became my model.

I'm going to display some wonderful pictures of my little munchkin I got to capture in those underrated yet beautiful places. These pictures will prove as to why I love taking pictures in the natural light.

Clicked by my hubby

All these pictures were taken in very ordinary places, which makes the saying "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" come true.
Hope you like these pictures.
